OUR HIRING APPROACH

FoodWhat wants to be a fulfilling and inspiring place to work. We set out to develop an organizational culture around staff wellness. Together we hold a high bar of excellence for our work, practice a learning mindset, and lean into our emotional intelligence. We continue to hone our onboarding process to ensure new staff receives the context, training, and deep dive needed to succeed. This can also include longer term mentoring. 

When first joining the team, clear goals and expectations will be set with accompanying check-ins at 90 and 180 days for any new staff. During these first 6 months, the new staff member is invited to determine if this job is a match for them while their manager will confirm if they have the skills and orientation to succeed in their new role. We call these first 6 months the Orientation and Evaluation Period.
